Is there anyway of knowing if my domain has been back ordered?

If my domain is going to expire within the next few months, is there anyway of telling that someone has backordered it? Or how many people have back ordered it?

I don't know. I didn't think such a thing was possible to backorder a domain that is already registered. I assume that if you re-register it, you always retain it because you don't really give it up.
