Domain Name Renewal with another Registrar?

Hi there,

I have a domain name that's close to its renewal date. The current registrar is costly compare to others. Is it advisable to transfer it to another registrar and then renew with the new registrar when its expiring?

Transfer them to http://www.LocoDomains.com they have the best deals and service

Just check what your current registrar charges for transferring, It ending up costing me more once. The other risky alternative is let it expire and buy through a different company as soon as its availble. godaddy.com is very good.

Yes you can transfer to another register. Before you do though check what fee's are involved it may cost you less to stay where you are. There's usually a transfer fee and the renewal fee will have to be paid.

You can transfer it now, And wont have to worry about the expiration with the other registar. E-mail your current registrar asking for your UDAI or get it through their web portal. Then transfer to new host. Be aware that DNS wont update for up to 24 hours, And if you have a mail server for domain, You will see an interruption in mail flow.

Advise you change on a saturday afternoon or a time that suits to have an interuption

Cheers
