How long would search engine will crawl my site?

I have a newly acquired domain and it is an expired domain. It was in the search engine before it was expired and after I acquired it the cache was removed.

BTW, the site is http://www.macyshookup.com and it already took 3 days. Before search engines crawled my sites in just a day even if it is expired domain but now it's not. I wonder why. I already give it some links and posted in some bookmarking sites. Thanks!

I wrote an article about indexing your webpages. It has links to the most important places.

http://www.informitus.com/indexing-your-webpages.html

It can sometimes take 2-3 weeks for the search bot to parse your site. Have a little patience, read the article, submit your site at the links listed and it will happen.

It will take some hours usually 24-72...yes.

Well it alive and up. Don't rely on just search engine marketing. many other ways:

1] Online:

Advertise on sites like http://www.sellit-right.com â€" really good and free.

Create a blog and allow comments

Myspace

facebook

bebo

Have vid? Then Youtube

2] Offiline:

Flyers and word of mouth

Ad on your company / general vehicle or bicycle.

first of all you need to follow the google webmaster tools.
