Have anyone heard about domain profiteering?

Is it real that you can buy an expired domain and sell it later or pack it for monthly profits?

People early to the game made a lot of money. Now there are so many domain vulchers that its hardly worth the time. The only possibility I see is to register the half decent names and hold them since domains are becoming limited. The down side is that you have to keep paying for the names each year and its possible that .com may not be the address of choice some day.

Yes, absolutely. The problem is finding expired domain names that have value, and then snapping them up before anyone else does.

Some expired domains are worth thousands, or even tens of thousands. Some expired domains can generate hundreds a month when parked. And some can generate thousands of visitors to your site if you redirect it.
