My website is down b/c my domain expired and domain registrant didnot let mysite be online even for few days.I can not renew it this time b/c theire payment method is only credit cards and no credit cards in this country.my friend who lives in Europe and used to help me in before is now in my country and unable to renew it b/c expired,he has to go there and will definately pay for me.but he must stay here for two weeks and i donot want mysite remain down.Can i change my domain registrant to a digfferent one .register to a new one,if my present registrant keep showing no positive?
please help on domains,transfering,etc..

You have to get your domain registration renewed as soon as possible. Unregistered domains are snapped in a jiffy. Even registrars become cyber-squatters. If your registrar is uncooperative, you can re-register your domain from another one - if the previous registrar has released it. But most often you are given about 1 month of time to renew your domain name.
